Your Prank Call Stinks: Script It Next Time

Do you know what makes a good prank call? There are acutally a lot of things that go into a really good prank, like scripting. Most people don’t even think about this, but taking the time to write down what you want to say makes a huge difference. If you know at least how you want your prank call to go, it makes it that much easier even if you improv a little.
 
  Here are a few tips to think about when you script your call out:
  • Know your audience – If you know who you’re calling, then you can script the call around them and what they might say.
  • Write down all your thoughts – There a multiple ways a prank can play out so write down as many as you can think of.
  • Keep it short – If you end up writing pages and pages about your prank, then give up. No one listening is going to have the attention span in hope that your prank might be good.
  • Try it out loud first – Before you make a call, talk through it out lound to see how it might sound. It might look good on paper, but sound completely different out loud.
